Merry Galmas!!

Hello Dears,

I hope everyone is having a great day. I hope you got at least one thing you really wanted this year and enjoyed the time spent with family. I couldn't make it to see my mom so I went to my aunt's place instead. My cousin cooked mostly everything except for the potato salad. Food was good and I got some unexpected presents from my mom, sister, boyfriend, and possibly mother-in-law?

It's My Birthday!

Hello Dears,

I started with a delicious breakfast at this diner my boyfriend took me to. I celebrated with my best friend in the whole world. We tried to check out the Kris Kringle Mart located in Daley Plaza but it didn't work out unfortunately. It happens each year around xmas and has a lot of cool things. You get a feel for German culture during this season. If you're ever in Chicago in the winter check it out!

Since we missed each other at the mart, I went to her place. She was going to cook me lunch/dinner because she just bought some new stainless steel cookware. But we decided to get Mexican food later instead. I felt bad because she and her roommate have become vegetarian and I ate a meat combo fajita in front of them XD (it was fucking delicious). For most of the day we drank wine and champagne, talked shit about how much the world sucks and laughed at old memories. It was simple but perhaps one of the best days I've ever had because of one person who stuck with me for so many years. Love and a huge thanks to my bestie Tia ^^

Deb Shops Haul

Hello Dears!

I finally started training for my new job and its pretty simple, I just need time to get used to all the rules and procedures. I've gotten paid and I'm pretty sure you know what that means...SHOPPING SPREE! I was without money for about 4 months and I HATED it! We need money to survive and get basic necessities but every once in a while, it's nice to do something for yourself and feel like a princess. If my readers didn't know already, I'm plus size and it can be hard to do Gyaru when you're not a skinny Japanese girl XD

BUT, I DID NOT let that stop me from trying and being the best Gal I can be. ANYONE can do Gal as long as you have the determination, confidence, and heart to keep going no matter what anyone says! Any who, I can make another post on keeping confidence when dressing gal and being plus sized at another time. I just wanted to share with you dears some great stuff I got, all on clearance by the way *insert wink* Feel free to comment if you gals have any questions.

Dominick's Stores Closing In Chicago!

I just wanted to update you lovelies and let you know that the dominick's stores will be closing in chicago. Everything is 50% off! Unfortunately, I'm still technically broke because my new job has not started yet but I had a few bucks to spare to get in on some deals. I'm pretty sure the stores have been wiped clean. I hope everyone got stuffed and enjoyed the company of friends and family. I just wanted to say what I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for my mom, without her I wouldn't be here and be the awesome person I am today. I'm thankful that my boyfriend and I worked it out and remained together. He truly is the love of my life and I hope to remain in his life. I'm thankful that I graduated school. I'm thankful that things seem like they are finally going in a good direction in my life. I'm thankful for all the amazing friends I've been blessed with. I'm thankful that I'm alive, healthy and breathing. And I'm thankful that I can share my experiences with the readers of my blog.

I hope you dears enjoyed some shopping for Black Friday. I won't be able to enjoy any shopping until my new job starts, unfortunately -_-. If any of you like South Park then you will know exactly how it is lol. I'm not sure how many people died this year because of Black Friday, but I do hope we can find ways for people to shop safer during the holidays. Ebay Haul

Hello Dears,

Today I have a haul from Ebay. I actually bought these items way back in june but I didn't have time to post them because I was busy working. Things are looking up though! I had a job interview and everything seemed like it went well. I'll keep you guys posted once I start working. Got my fingers crossed^^

Mitsuwa Bon Odori Festival 2013

Hello Dears,

I know this post is VERY late but I love the bon odori festival and I want to share any cultural things that happen in the mid-west. The festival is every year in August in Arlington Heights, Illinois and it's very similar to the one in Japan but no where near the amount of people in attendance. Takoyaki, Ramune, Ramen, Curry, and mochi ice cream!

The weather was beautiful and this time my friends and I brought blankets to sit in the grass. I actually took a nap because it was so nice. I dressed a bit gal because I didn't have a yukata. I hope to get one eventually. I have more pictures on instagram but I had to show my swag from the festival^^ Comment please!
