Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Scrunching Gel Review

I hope everyone has been having a great February thus far. It's been ok for me, I do have some events coming up that I will make posts about later in the month. But today I bring to you a review on a product that I was hoping would help my naturally curly hair but I was wrong XD. It might work for others whose hair is not so thick and unruly but it did not work for me.

So, I bought this gel hoping that it would tame my curls and smooth some of the major frizz I have. The texture is a bit stickier than other gels I have tried. It would provide a small amount of smoothing for my frizz but after an hour or so, I noticed my hair would puff out again and become like an afro. I know some might like that but I personally do not. I would run my fingers through my hair and it felt dry, sticky, and just unpleasant. I also tried to use this as an edge tamer when my hair is straight and it held for a little while before the frizz started to come back again.

The only thing I really enjoyed from this product was the smell. Herbal Essences makes products that smell wonderful but they do not always work for different hair textures. I don't know if I would buy this product again. But if I did, I would go for the maximum strength which is number 3 and see if the strength makes a difference for my hair.

Overall, this gel did not work for me but I am willing to give it a second chance if I can get the maximum strength one. If you gals have any suggestions for a scrunching gel that's good for curly hair then please let me know!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello Dears!

I hope everyone is having an awesome day with the person they deem most special to them in the world. Today I spent it with my boyfriend and we had a nice time. We saw the new remake of RoboCop and I must say that I enjoyed it a lot. I really don't understand why people get upset when movies get remade. We have much better graphics and special effects than we did back then so I think it makes for a better experience but in a different way.

But don't get me wrong, there are some movies that should be left alone because they are classic and were just amazing when they were first released. Like Spiderman, I think Toby Mcguire did an excellent job and I saw no reason for them to remake the films because they're not even that old! But that's just my opinion.

We ate dinner at Chili's and it was delicious! I had a drink or two lol But overall it was simple and honestly it was like any other date night for us, except that this is the day society deems you must go out and show appreciation for the one you love. Shouldn't you be doing that anyway?? lol But here are some food pornz pics and some selfie's I took of my make, hair and coords for the day.

Forever 21 Haul And Website Review

Hello Dears!

I have not really had time to do any physical shopping at a store except for a few quick items here and there. This is my first time ordering from Forever21.com and it was a nice experience. I like how you can read reviews from other customers because that really helps when you're trying to decide if a product is worth buying or not. I also like that you get free shipping when you purchase $50 worth of products or more. The interface of the site is easy to navigate and I really like that you can get different angled views of the products.

You can also create multiple wish lists with a different theme for each one. For example, I have a wish list for gal fashion, one for makeup products, and another for accessories. I do think some items are a bit over priced but nothing we can really do about that except wait for it to go on clearance XD. Overall, it was simple and easy to order and shipping was pretty fast. I am very pleased with the items I ordered and will post a review of the products on their website.

Hello Dears,

I know it's been some time since had a post about my monthly favorites. So let's get to it! I haven't worn much makeup this month because my skin has not been nice to me. I've been using a new face scrub and it has helped quite a bit. Most of my favorites will consist of clothing for this month because it's been sooooo cold!

And due to this coldness I haven't been feeling cute/sexy so I have not dressed in gal fashion for some time now. Valentine's day is coming up and I will certainly dress gal for that^^ My boyfriend and I plan on seeing the new RoboCop movie. I loved the original and I'm curious to see what they have done with this remake. Do you lovelies have any Valentine's Day plans? If so, I'd like to hear about them ^_^
