July Favorites

Hello Dears,

For July I mostly have makeup stuff that I have been loving. I also have some jewelry that I was wearing a lot during that month. And I'm including a parfume that I have fallen in love with! It's almost gone :( so I need to buy another bottle when I get the chance. And I have been protecting my skin from the sun as much as I can. Or rather when I remember... lol Protecting your skin from the sun is important, no matter what complexion you are.

Lorac Porefection Baked Powder Review

Hello Dears!

Today I bring you a review on the Lorac porefection baked powder. First off, the packaging is really nice. It's very sleek and has a mirror like shine to it. But because of that, you can easily see the finger prints left behind after touching it. The mirror inside the compact is a nice size.

The product itself is dome shaped because it's baked. The texture is very smooth but has a slight clay like feel to it. It's nothing to worry about because once the powder is on your skin you cannot feel it. The powder has salicylic acid in it, so if you have oily or acne prone skin this really helps. It can be applied dry or wet. I have tried both ways and both give you good coverage. Applying wet gives a bit more coverage and helps hide some dark spots.

I have used this as a stand alone powder foundation and as a setting powder. It works wonders both ways. The only issue with this product is that there are not a varieity of shades to choose. So if you're a darker gal you may have an issue with this.

June 30, 2013 Chicago Gay Pride Parade Coords

Hello Dears,

I went to pride and it was hella packed! The train did not even go to the stop one would normally get off to go into Boys Town. I was not able to meet up with any of my friends but I still went to the parade. Lots of loud music, hot bodies, and colorful flags. I was in back and slowly made my way to the front and got a better view. I met some interesting, drunk people and still had fun anyway. I decided to dress in school girl coords just for the hell of it. I got some stares but nothing rude or mean. Hopefully next year I can meet with friends and have a better time. New Phone!!

Hello Dears,

So I recently got a new phone. It's the Galaxy SIII and I luuurv it! I used to be with US Cellular but they sold out to Sprint, so I just decided to go with Sprint because my boyfriend has AT&T and I have witnessed how much it sucks. My best friend Tania, has T-Mobile and she says they suck. Soooo I just went with Sprint. I'm actually really glad I did because I can get a discount since I work for the Lighthouse. I got a super cute phone case for it but I'm hoping to get another one that is even more blinged out than my current one.

Compared to my old phone, the S3 is super smooth. The interface is easy to navigate and everything runs soooo smoothly. OMG the picture and sound quality are to die for! XD I hope to upgrade to the S4 before it becomes out of date. Here's some pics of my phone in the case.
