Becoming Gyaru

*Disclaimer- These Ideas are not my own but I took them as guidelines for this style. They were created by Mitsu from Universal Doll. She is truly a great asset to the gyaru community and has wonderful info on her blog.*

1. Choose a style you like most or magazines you indentify with. If you don't know what styles are out there then research is required. Google or any search engine are your best friends :)

2. Search the net to find the most recent pictures of your favorite style or styles and save them for reference.

3. Study what Gal is and is not. Do not attempt gal if you have ANY negative thoughts/feelings
- Gal is a fashion movement
- Gal is constantly evolving
- Gal must be constantly improved
- Gal is VERY Broad
- Gal is NOT cosplay

4. Buy lots of magazines and find your favorite gal models.
 - Start an 'I love this' board/list to begin coordinating outfits

5. Go shopping for what you don't have to complete your look.
 - Dress for your body type and age
 - Wear circle lenses and false lashes
 - Be a fashion editor to your closet and work with what you got and then build upon it gradually

6. Learn to do Gal makeup

7.  Learn to do Gal hairstyles

8. Put everything together and be wild, sexy, confident yet humble and improve yourself. Confidence is key to ANY style.

9.  Stay up to date on the latest styles and trends.

10. Practice makes perfect!
- Practice walking in heels
- Practice your makeup and hair
- Don't be afraid of going over the top!

11. Present yourself completely when seeking advice/criticism
- Your hair, makeup and nails are done
- Your coords were well chosen
- You have accessories

Christmas and Bday gifts

So my birthday last year was the so called "end of the world" (the 21st) until people realized that it was just another day. I was hoping something exciting was going to happen but it didn't... :(
I had a few friends come by and we watched some 3D movies on my new 42' LED 1080p 3D HDTV (that's a mouthful xD) We ordered some chicken wings and they were fucking delicious!!

My boyfriend's little brother bought a tres leches (three milk) cake for us. His birthday was the 19th of December but we celebrate ours together because I am very close with his family. His brothers are my brothers so on and so forth...

I got some extra cash so I wanted to treat myself and got some really nice things. I will share pics of those awesome things that I got. I also got a kinect and Dance Central 3 for christmas, some makeup palettes and white creepers.

The ginormous tres leches cake with strawberries and caramel!

Sleep Over

So I invited some friends for a sleep over. I wanted to go out in gal fashion and hopefully get some friends who might be interested in gyaru and introduce them to the style. I wanted to do something fun before we all went back to school. Only one person showed up and she has been doing gyaru for a few months. I love her style and it's really cute.

So even though everyone did not show, we made our own party. We watched bad horror movies and made fun of them. We ate popcorn, cookies, and drank some wine. I made some delicious chicken noodle soup and bought a fruit mousse cake. It was freaking delicious! We fell asleep watching I.Robot and Will Smith and all his sexy glory.

The next day I made a nice breakfast and we styled wigs and watched youtube vids of other gyaru tutorials. We both got ready and headed out to Chinatown for dinner. The portions were so huge for the price and I couldn't finish it all! I tried a drink called pink lady and it was amazing! We chatted and walked around then parted ways for now. Below are pics of our coords and the yummy food we ate in Chinatown.
