Cats, Tacos and Booze!

Hello Dears,

I hope everything is going good.
I love my fiance but he does some silly things when he's drunk. There is a restaurant in our neighborhood called El Famous Burrito and they have delicious authentic Mexican food.

We purchased our food and then we went back home. But on our way back we heard what sounded like meowing from a cat. We had no clue where it came from but kept on walking. I hear my fiance say "I'm gonna find that cat" and then he dissapears. I walk home alone then 20 minutes later he's at the back door playing with this stray cat. I just stand there very confused.

Since my fiance was drunk he begged me to keep the cat and I told him no because we don't have the money to care for a cat. It rained and he brought the cat in to keep it dry and fed it a burrito....In the end we let the cat go because we didn't know if it belonged to someone but it sure was cute. My fiance took some pictures of it.

Have you gals ever done anything silly while drunk? I usually pass out and sleep lol but I'd like to know your stories so feel free to comment below!

My Apartment Building Was On Fire!!

Hello Dears!

Sooo, a few weeks ago my apartment building caught on fire. What surprised me though was that no one knocked on our door or rang the door bell to wake us up. We woke up to the smell of burning plastic. Then when we took a peek outside, the police told us to evacuate the building! We had to stand outside for about an hour before we could go back inside.

The fire fighters said it was an electrical fire and that concerns me because this building is kind of old and who knows what type of wiring it has. I do feel sorry for the couple that lived there because they lost everything except for a blanket. It made me consider getting renters insurance. Although no one was hurt, thinking about how much valuables you have and to replace ALL of it has got to be sooo stressful. My fiance managed to get a few pictures of the accident.

That apartment has since been boarded up and sealed off but I hope that couple is safe. And you lovely gals stay safe too, no matter where you are in the world.

(LATE) MEMORIAL DAY BBQ

Hello Dears!

I can't believe it's already September. The weather here has been insane lately but I'm doing well and things are looking up for me. I know this is very late but I wanted to share anyway. My best friend and I decided to have a BBQ of our own. However, it did not turn out as well as we had hoped.... It took us forever to light the grill and then it rained on us and we didn't get to cook everything. We did learn some lessons on how to properly grill so next time we try this, we will know what to do lol

I took pictures of the food we were able to cook and of my outfit for that day. All in all I had fun and that's what it's about food, fun and booze.

Baby Shower!!

Hello Dears,
I hope everyone has been having a lovely week thus far. I feel like I'm being inspired again to dress gal and be more outgoing. But that's not the topic for today. Back in February, I went to my soon to be sister in law's baby shower. It was fun and the food was good. But most of all it was nice to see the celebration of new life. So the new parents are expecting a boy and they named him Isac. He was actually born yesterday evening and he's adorable. He looks just like his dad lol.

I took a few pictures of the event and some selfie's of my look for that day. I usually wear heavier make up but this time I toned it down A LOT lol. I didn't feel like being stared at and asked questions so I tried to dress more normal lol. The cake they had was AMAZING! It tasted even better than it looked. If I ever have kids I hope to have a cake just as awesome^_^ Congrats to the new parents!

Merry Galmas!!

Hello Dears,

I hope everyone is having a great day. I hope you got at least one thing you really wanted this year and enjoyed the time spent with family. I couldn't make it to see my mom so I went to my aunt's place instead. My cousin cooked mostly everything except for the potato salad. Food was good and I got some unexpected presents from my mom, sister, boyfriend, and possibly mother-in-law?

It's My Birthday!

Hello Dears,

I started with a delicious breakfast at this diner my boyfriend took me to. I celebrated with my best friend in the whole world. We tried to check out the Kris Kringle Mart located in Daley Plaza but it didn't work out unfortunately. It happens each year around xmas and has a lot of cool things. You get a feel for German culture during this season. If you're ever in Chicago in the winter check it out!

Since we missed each other at the mart, I went to her place. She was going to cook me lunch/dinner because she just bought some new stainless steel cookware. But we decided to get Mexican food later instead. I felt bad because she and her roommate have become vegetarian and I ate a meat combo fajita in front of them XD (it was fucking delicious). For most of the day we drank wine and champagne, talked shit about how much the world sucks and laughed at old memories. It was simple but perhaps one of the best days I've ever had because of one person who stuck with me for so many years. Love and a huge thanks to my bestie Tia ^^
