(LATE) MEMORIAL DAY BBQ

Hello Dears!

I can't believe it's already September. The weather here has been insane lately but I'm doing well and things are looking up for me. I know this is very late but I wanted to share anyway. My best friend and I decided to have a BBQ of our own. However, it did not turn out as well as we had hoped.... It took us forever to light the grill and then it rained on us and we didn't get to cook everything. We did learn some lessons on how to properly grill so next time we try this, we will know what to do lol

I took pictures of the food we were able to cook and of my outfit for that day. All in all I had fun and that's what it's about food, fun and booze.

Baby Shower!!

Hello Dears,
I hope everyone has been having a lovely week thus far. I feel like I'm being inspired again to dress gal and be more outgoing. But that's not the topic for today. Back in February, I went to my soon to be sister in law's baby shower. It was fun and the food was good. But most of all it was nice to see the celebration of new life. So the new parents are expecting a boy and they named him Isac. He was actually born yesterday evening and he's adorable. He looks just like his dad lol.

I took a few pictures of the event and some selfie's of my look for that day. I usually wear heavier make up but this time I toned it down A LOT lol. I didn't feel like being stared at and asked questions so I tried to dress more normal lol. The cake they had was AMAZING! It tasted even better than it looked. If I ever have kids I hope to have a cake just as awesome^_^ Congrats to the new parents!

I tried the best I could to get a full body shot but this mirror was not helping lol. I just went for a general gyaru kei look

My face for the day. This is VERY casual for me. I chose not to wear lashes because I didn't have any that looked natural enough.

Opening gifts!

They had waaayyy more presents than this but I didn't get a picture.

Mitsuwa Bon Odori Festival 2013

Hello Dears,

I know this post is VERY late but I love the bon odori festival and I want to share any cultural things that happen in the mid-west. The festival is every year in August in Arlington Heights, Illinois and it's very similar to the one in Japan but no where near the amount of people in attendance. Takoyaki, Ramune, Ramen, Curry, and mochi ice cream!

The weather was beautiful and this time my friends and I brought blankets to sit in the grass. I actually took a nap because it was so nice. I dressed a bit gal because I didn't have a yukata. I hope to get one eventually. I have more pictures on instagram but I had to show my swag from the festival^^ Comment please!

LAS VEGAS VACATION DAY 3 (PIC HEAVY)

Hello Dears!

The final day before we go back home :( We crammed in a lot of stuff to do for this last day. I felt like we were never going to get to the end of the day because we were always busy! This day was exciting because I got to see the Sexual Heritage Museum. It's the only sex museum in Vegas and I just have to say, wow... Due to adult content, I'm not going to post all the pictures I took, but I'll give you an idea of what things are in the museum. After the museum, we got massages at a health spa. It was heaven! I've never gotten a massage before this and it felt amazing.

That night we almost missed our bus tour, but luckily a driver from the bus company took us to the next location (even though he wasn't supposed to). We tipped him a $20 bill because he was not technically allowed to move from his position. Needless to say, we got on that bus tour and it was very cool. I got to see Fremont street aka Old Vegas. We tried deep fried twinkies and deep friend oreos. Both were pretty damn delicious. Check my instagram for some video footage and extra pictures that may not be here. I do apologize if there are any repeats and for some blurred pictures. I was on a moving double decker bus. Comment and Enjoy!

It's designed to look like a red light district.
